The Waveshare Industrial USB to RS232/485 Converter, FT4232HL is a robust communication device that facilitates the connection of multiple serial port devices to a USB interface. It features the original FT4232HL chip, which ensures fast, stable, and reliable communication with better compatibility. This converter supports USB to 2-channel isolated RS232/485 and an additional 2-channel isolated RS232, making it versatile for various industrial applications.
The device boasts an integrated unibody power supply isolation, providing stable isolated voltage without the need for an external power source for the isolated terminal. Additionally, it includes unibody digital isolation to ensure signal integrity, high reliability, and strong anti-interference capabilities while maintaining low power consumption. The converter is equipped with onboard TVS for surge and transient voltage suppression, offering lightning and ESD protection. It also features self-recovery fuses and protection diodes to deliver stable current and voltage outputs, enhancing its shockproof performance and ensuring safety against over-current and over-voltage incidents.
